Apprentice, Collective, and Sounds of Summer Tracks
Apprentice Track: Monday, June 4th - Thursday, June 7th

Mallet Intensive and Chamber Music Seminar/Workshop
Players accepted into the Apprentice Track perform in faculty-led chamber groups that simulate a professional experience of accelerated learning and rehearsing. Students receive highly intensive instruction and a variety of additional educational experiences, such as private lessons, master-classes and performances throughout the week. Students will receive two, 30-minute private lessons that week and assignments for lessons are customized for each participant, based on the individual player. Limited to 12 Students Grades 9 to College Applicants not accepted into the Apprentice Track will automatically be enrolled in the Collective Track. *AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Snare and Keyboard (2 or 4 mallet) solo or etude of choice APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 15th For More information or to submit your video, CLICK HERE |

Collective Track: Monday, June 4th - Thursday, June 7th

Students will rotate through classes with focus on multiple areas of percussion (snare, keyboard, accessories, hand drums, drum set and more).The Collective Track does include participation into the Yamaha Sounds of Summer on Wednesday and Thursday.
Collective Track will include our Beginning Percussion Track for those new to percussion or just starting out. Limited to 20 Middle School Students and 15 High School Students. NO AUDITION REQUIRED |

Sounds of Summer (SOS): Wednesday, June 6th - Thursday, June 7th

Hands-on classes in marching battery percussion consisting of snare, tenor and bass drum. Students may register as an individual or by their band director with their entire section (discounts available to sections of 10 or more).
