Percussion Camp

Perfect for the well-rounded percussionist who wants to learn a little of everything. Some hand drum techniques to drum set basics to start a great camp!

With only 3 days, students will get to experience unique and challenging ensemble opportunities similar to college settings. At the end of the camp, they will perform in the arranged ensembles.

Like a boot camp for serious high school drummers, this track is designed to develop and maintain the core essentials of the drum set. It’s loud, it’s fast-paced, but it’s also a lot of fun!

Students will be placed in marching ensembles based on skill level and become immersed in this focus area. Similar to what may be experienced in DCI and Indoor Marching Percussion.

Students going into grades 6-8 will gain completely hands-on experience and instruction in multiple areas of percussion. It’s the perfect summer overall percussion experience for those new to this musical family.

Start the week with either the Collective or Mallet Intesive tracks, then go into the afternoon with the Advanced Drum Set track and end the week with the Battery Track. Have the ultimate week and save, too! High School Tracks Only.
